Why is this measure important?
Affiliated Neighbourhood Associations strengthen social connections, beautify public spaces, and improve safety, all of which contribute to healthier, more engaged, and resilient neighbourhoods. This measure is an indication of the number of residents who have been empowered to take action to form and become Affiliated Neighbourhood Associations.
What progress are we making?
From 2024 to 2025, we anticipated a 25% increase. We exceeded this goal and increased the number of Affiliated Neighbourhood Associations by 37%. In 2026, we anticipate a 25% increase from 2025.
How is this measured?
Success of the Affiliated Neighbourhood Associations program can be determined by: the total number of Affiliated Neighbourhood Associations formed in each year. Please note, 2024 is the first year for the Affiliated Neighbourhood Association program.
