We are committed to providing the highest quality of emergency services to our residents. Measuring the time, it takes for firefighters to respond to structure fires and medical emergencies is critical to the protection of our residents and community. Effective and efficient responses to structure fire emergencies helps to reduce injuries, fatalities and property loss.
What progress are we making?
Continuous review of fire response times, supported by enhanced data analytics, has allowed for more accurate performance monitoring and identification of areas needing improvement. Strategic investments in building new fire stations have reduced travel distances and improved coverage in high-demand areas. Additionally, the recruitment of more personnel has strengthened staffing levels, ensuring faster deployment and improved operational readiness for emergency responses.

This measure examines the response time to structure fires within 384 seconds (6.4 minutes).
