Why is this measure important?
Recreation provides a wide range of recreational services to the community with three main access models: drop-ins, registered programs, and third-party delivered services. Rental hours track usage for individual and community groups that deliver leagues, programs and events to our community.
What progress are we making?
The City has many high quality sport fields, ice rinks, and other community spaces. Recreation is currently implementing an updated Community Sports Group Allocation program that will support improvements in equity and efficient use of our high demand recreation spaces.
How is this measured?
Total Rental Hours, excluding leases, including all sports facilities and room bookings.
